First Level Engineering Support Technician - London - £up to £22k dependent on experience First Level Engineering support technician urgently required. This is a complex role covering technical and application issues across a diverse range of multi-vendor platforms. Also providing assistance with Project based work (system changes, upgrades and installations). Good communication skills are essential both verbally and written, the ability to actively share knowledge and information, work effectively within a variety of teams and structures. Be able to plan and prioritise workload, taking personal ownership of problems to deliver customer satisfaction. Must demonstrate drive, urgency, energy and enthusiasm. Make timely decisions and take responsibility for them. Be able to raise potential issues, offering solutions where possible and adapt to requirements of different groups. you should have a good general education with a logical and methodical approach to tasks and problem solving. A minimum of two years experience, in a computer systems*network environment. An understanding of TCP*IP, LANs and WANs, Asynchronous, Internet delivery and firewall technologies and general networking concepts including the infrastructure (structured cabling) that supports these.
